PINK OCTOBER – ACTION AGAINST BREAST CANCER
KGB-Healthy Living Foundation giving hope to the people of Buea – Cameroon through Breast cancer Awareness. This street walks, race, dance, and talk is necessary because the community needs us, survivors, and the world at large needs to know.
Encouraging early screening and diagnosis is the best way we know to fight Breast cancer.
Walking and talking from Bongo square to Omnisports stadium Molyko is our strategy to fight Breast cancer. In a global effort to raise awareness on breast cancer, October 24, 2020, is an amazing day to cry out to the public that, Regular Breast Screening helps early detection hence, reduction in Breast Cancer Death.
Early detection and treatment remain the cornerstones of breast cancer control.
There is a need for Breast cancer Awareness due to increasing urbanization and the adoption of western lifestyles.
KGB-Healthy living Foundation says NO to late diagnosis; where most women with breast cancer are diagnosed in late stages due mainly to lack of awareness about early detection, and barriers to health services.
