Periods can be challenging and difficult when not properly managed. Katchoua Foundation offers free sanitary pads and underwear monthly to improve menstrual health/ hygiene in our communities. Good hygienic materials are essential for menstruation.
Cotton pants are the best period underwear designed to absorb your menstrual flow and provide comfort.

Although a lot of awareness has been done on Menstrual Hygiene (MH) but MH is still a necessity. Katchoua Foundation’s monthly donation keeps fighting period poverty. Less privileged girls/women during their periods face challenges because they can’t easily afford sanitary pads and good underwear. Healthy materials for menstruation can be expensive, Katchoua Foundation keeps making it easy for our future mothers to menstruate with pride.

KF is concerned about period poverty and together we can put a smile on the face of a girl child. Together let us contribute to fighting myths and stigma surrounding menstruation.

Women and girls in Cameroon are at risk of infections because of a lack of hygienic menstruation materials. Women/girls cannot go to work or school easily because of period poverty and can even develop health issues.

Katchoua Foundation keeps raising awareness on MH through the free donation of monthly pads and panties.
Our goal is to manage their periods safely and hygienically so they can continue to school and associate freely irrespective of period.
