May 28 is Menstrual Hygiene Day (MH Day); we dedicated this day to bringing awareness on the vital role that good menstrual hygiene management (MHM) plays in empowering women and adolescent girls at Mountain kids Orphanage Bokwango. KGB-HLF creating MH awareness in COVID-19 and trying to create a world in which, every woman and girl is able to manage her menstruation in a hygienic way – in safety, privacy, and with dignity – even in pandemics (COVID-19).
While staying at home to stay safe, sanitary products are hard to obtain, it means people might resort to using unhygienic alternatives that can increase their risk of reproductive and urinary tract infections.
It was on this note that the KGB-Healthy Living Foundation thought of donating pads to the Orphanage.

While observing the preventive measures of Coronavirus like constantly washing of hands to stay safe. There is a need to observe good menstrual hygiene.
