Scholarships are necessary to support internally displaced pupils in Cameroon who lost their parents or source of income because of the ongoing crisis.
The ongoing Cameroon Crisis gave birth to poverty, unwanted pregnancy, street children who lost their homes, love ones, family businesses (source of income), and jobs. It has never been easy for some pupils, and students to start or return to school because they couldn’t afford fees or books. Children from low-income families suffered more, and on this note, Katchoua Foundation has to step in to give scholarships to some pupils to be able to go to school and learn. Educating the leaders of tomorrow is one of the goals of the Katchoua Foundation. Giving these pupils a better chance to break the cycle of generational poverty through education is a necessity.
At Katchoua Foundation, we believe in putting pupils first. Addressing issues of fees is necessary. Katchoua foundation filled the affordability gap for low-income pupils in the South West Region in the 2021/2022 academic year through this scholarship.
Education is the best solution out of poverty.
Cameroon crisis plus COVID-19 pandemic took a toll on a lot of Cameroonians. Katchoua Foundation is never afraid of the cost to serve humanity. Despite the difficulty, one thing remains true: the more education you get, the better your future.

Katchoua Foundation Scholarships helped IDPs and orphans to stay in school. Pupils in Government Practicing School II Buea, SWR in Cameroon who received financial aid were happy to be able to stay in school.
Together we can always give IDPs (internally displaced persons) and orphans the education they need to change their lives for good. Scholarships for Children who Cameroon crisis has affected is a great deal.
